Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, recently voted #1 in the nation as the best large mortgage company to work for by National Mortgage News, is seeking a Junior Secondary Market Analyst to join our team in our Virginia Beach, VA office.
What you'll be doing Accepting rate locks and verifying accuracy of rate lock submission to ensure accurate pricing and eligibility for loan program requested through pricing and scenarios engine.
Processing extension and relock requests, ensuring accuracy of pricing and terms of loan, making applicable changes as necessary.
Processing state agency bond rate locks as well as best efforts rate locks through applicable investor websites, while ensuring accuracy pertaining to pricing and loan eligibility according to guidelines.
Fielding basic phone and email inquiries from sales as well as intradepartmental operations colleagues.
Verifying and distributing lock confirmations.
Being a resource for Inter/Intradepartmental questions.
Ensuring customer (internal/external) satisfaction.
Repricing/Inputting all lock changes for sellers, underwriting, and funding.
Generating daily lock reports.
Maintaining investor pipelines.
Other duties as assigned.
What you'll bring Proficient with MS Office (Excel is a must).
Strong math and analytical skills.
A background in mortgage lending is required.
Ability to build strong relationships with loan officers, production, underwriting, closing and other internal and external partners.
Ability to manage tight deadlines, short notice on changes and flexibility.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks for self in a deadline-driven environment, strong sense of urgency and responsiveness.
Ability to work with all levels and varying positions of staff.
