The New Patient Support Liaison is the first point of contact for New Patients that need information on CCRM's services and need to make appointments for Consultations.
The NPSL works closely with the internal team members and marketing department to ensure that all potential new patient leads are contacted, scheduled, and all follow up after Consultation is completed as part of our Patient Satisfaction efforts.
The New Patient Support Liaison is responsible for answering incoming calls for new patient appointments, answering patient emails, patient leads and following up on appointments that need to be scheduled or rescheduled.
The NPSL is also responsible for collecting patient demographics, insurance details, payment information, setting up patient portal accounts, sending consent forms to patients, linking patient accounts, and providing support for front office staff.
They will answer questions, provide general information, schedule appointments, and/or route calls to a person who can provide more specific information when applicable.
What You'll Do Every Day o Answer phones in a timely manner and greet each caller in a professional and polite voice.
o Review all patient leads in Patient Gain and call/follow up regarding inquiries o Answer questions or direct them to the appropriate person.
o Schedule new patient appointments in an accurate and timely manner o Responsible for gathering demographic information, insurance information, payment information, spouse/partner information, and brief summary of past medical testing and/or treatment.
o Send confirmation email with time, date, address, instructions on how to complete new patient paperwork online, obtain medical records, and provide other information as needed.
o Responsible for calling potential patients who have submitted their contact information online.
o Responsible for timely follow-up on all potential patient contacts.
o Responsible for scheduling and sending confirmation email for patients having their one-dayworkups.
o Collect and report New Patient data on a daily/weekly/monthly basis o Communicate with patients in a timely manner when schedule changes are made.
o Responsible to handle confidential information and patient medical records.
o Assist patient, staff, and provider, as needed.
o Maintain positive relationships with other departments.
o Assist with reports and updating spreadsheet as assigned by manager.
o Participate in staff meetings and other in-services or training and is accountable for the information/education provided in those meetings.
o Assume responsibility for development and accomplishment of annual personal and team goals.
