Pet sitting and dog walking is a thriving industry and Stable Hands is looking for motivated individuals to help us to continue to grow.
Our ideal pet sitting and dog walking candidate will possess the following:
Time management Punctuality Good organizational skills Strong background in animal care A basic understanding of animal's needs and body language Ability to follow instructions, both verbal and written Familiarity with cell phone applications Responds in a timely manner to client or office queries High School diploma preferred Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Traveling to the pets homes to provide care (clients typically located in a 7 mile radius from your home) - At visits you can expect walks, yard time, cleaning of bowls, feed areas, litter boxes and litter areas, play and snuggle time with the pets.
As well as a few home sitting chores, such as mail collection, trash bin duties, Lights and blind rotations, etc.
- Medicate pets as needed and instructed.
This includes pills, liquid, topical, and sub-q (training offered) - Employees will use their smart phones to access company app to maintain time clock, as well as submit visit reports to clients/office.
- Typical work hours will be as client requested 5am-8am, 10am-3pm, 4pm-9pm, or overnight 8pm-6am (sleeping expected) as a general guide.
- 20-30 hours average weekly, with higher volume times for overnight bookings, high travel weeks, to include on and around holidays.
Asked to work 2-3 weekends a month.
(shifts vary on weekends, as traveling clients submit schedule request) Asked to work at least 2-3 holidays through out the year.
-Prefer evening, and overnight availability.

Each home is different as are the owners, so we comply with their wishes.
