The goal is to maintain these sites in a clean, safe and orderly manner using prescribed infection control procedures.
Responsibilities Clean and supply designated areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, disinfecting surfaces, discharge room cleaning, distributing linen, trash collection and transport etc.
) Perform and document required cleaning task Carry out detailed cleaning tasks and special projects Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Wearing required PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) Stock and clean janitor's closet, restock tissue, towel, soap, and sanitizer dispensers, etc.
Cooperate with and provide great customer service to department staff, patients, and visitors Follow all health and safety regulations Perform all related duties as needed Skills Proven working experience as a janitor Ability to stand, walk, bend, while working 8 to 12 hour shifts Knowledge of cleaning processes, chemicals and supplies Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets Integrity and ability to work independently Dependable and punctual Job Type:
