OpportunityJoin a highly skilled team of interdisciplinary TAG Engineering Division professionals to provide on-site and remote engineering services, technical training support and development of unique products to fuel the customers' mission.
OverviewThe primary responsibility of the Engineer is the on-demand development of tailored customer products to meet volatile mission requirements.
This includes research, design, development, documentation, integration, testing and manufacturing support of various unique systems.
Successful candidates will work directly with and report to senior level engineers to develop and manufacture new products based on customer specifications and market requirements.
The candidate will also be responsible for providing instruction of technical training curriculum to customers with both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
Primary Responsibilities Conduct research, design, development and testing of electrical products and systems Prepares electrical designs and related project documents including schematics and physical layouts of integrated electromechanical systems and components Create formal electrical engineering documents such as Bills of Materials (BOMs), hardware design documents, electrical interconnects, revision control, release documentation and design document packages Perform testing and validation to ensure electrical designs meet operational and functional requirements Able to operate and maintain test equipment to include oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers and vector network analyzers Conduct instruction of engineering level technical courses to customers from various backgrounds, both technical and non-technical Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations Manage and delegate tasking to small teams of engineers and technicians Able to travel up to 25% within CONUS for customer supportQualifications Bachelor's degree (from an ABET accredited college/university in an engineering or scientific discipline) and 3
years' technical relevant experience Knowledge in the design and development of microelectronics components and systems Experience in PCB development utilizing ECAD tools such as Altium Designer Firmware development and programming experience with C, C+
and Python languages Must possess organized, logical thought process skills, exhibit a strong work ethic and attention to detail Effective verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of power management, energy storage, and task power optimization methodsClearance Requirements When access to classified information is required, applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
