Broadcast Operations - Virginia Beach, VA The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking an experienced Broadcast Engineer to install, maintain and troubleshoot studio, production, transmission, and IT systems within a television broadcast environment.
The successful candidate will have the following
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of broadcast electronic equipment and systems in studio, production, post-production and transmission Strong knowledge of IT, data networking and network attached storage as it relates to broadcast systems Knowledge of FCC standards and regulations for television broadcast, distribution and closed captioning Ability to distinguish colors as related to monitor service, adjustment, and operation Ability to operate electronic test equipment used for troubleshooting circuits down to the component level Strong oral and written communication skills Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team Flexible with ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines Strong hand/eye coordination with ability to stand, stoop, and lift up to 25 lbs.
