The infrastructure engineering team supports the company's fast growth by building and operating hyper-scale datacenters, managing the life cycle of server fleet, providing cloud solutions, and developing various infrastructure services and making sure they are scalable and are reliable.
Accounts Payable role manages the payment and cost-related operational efforts in the team.
Main responsibilities include:
- Payment support:
o Billing info accuracy, usage comparison, due payment amount accuracy.
o Dispute with the external vendors upon discrepancies o On-time payment per due date set forth in contracts/invoices o Verify with internal team on different types of invoices o Reconcile with external parties on outstanding balance in a timely basis - Report Support:
o Track Payment initiation- payment closure lifecycle and generate reports o Provide ad hoc reporting by relevant parties before deadline o Lead month-end closing and year-end closing for infrastructure team by inputting, maintaining, updating business information in related platforms - Data Maintenance:
o Maintain the accuracy of historical data and record o Implement data entry, validation, and process big volumes data per requests - Other Support to the team:
o Provide support in accounting, audit and tax preparation o Communicate internally and externally to participate in different projects per requests o Support process improvement during the day to day operations Qualifications Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business related major - 2 years and above related experiences - Strong self-starter with the ability to fully implement mission-critical processes - Exceptional attention to detail and ability to operate with consistency in a fast-paced environment - Demonstrated learning orientation and ability to research and resolve issues - Firm understanding of the importance of securely handling highly confidential information - Microsoft Office 365 experience, especially Microsoft Excel strongly preferred - Commitment to mission-based work, especially in support of people of marginalized identities strongly preferred - Experience using web-based systems to enter, process and receive data preferred - Able to multi-task, prioritize projects and meet tight deadlines - Great communication skills, willing and flexible to work with teammates in different time zones - Strong problem-solving, analytical and time management skills Preferred Qualifications - Advanced degree in a technical field or business field - Experience with data center hardware, including servers and network equipment - Experienced in managing asset management contractors for daily operational activities - Analytical skills to query data sources and glean insights from complex data - Knowledge of and experience with regional customs regulations on exports, import experience.
