Senior Who We Are HII's System Integration group is seeking Training Reps to join our Fleet Sustainment group! These are full time roles are located in the Virginia Beach, VA area.
As a Training Lead you will play a critical role in the Integrated Training Systems Installation and Sustainment (ITSIS) support contract for the U.
S.
Navy.

What You Will Do Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel.
Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
Keeps abreast of training and development research:
learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments.
May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs.
May be responsible for development of e-learning programs.
Oversee and develop training analysis, programs of instruction including lesson plans, and conducting training in support of the Government.
Responsible for developing training curriculum, documentation and conducting all training for supported program.
Assigns work based on priorities, and evaluates work performance, and providing advice, counsel, or instructions to employees on both work and administrative matters.
Identify developmental and training needs of employees, providing or arranging for needed development and training.
What You Must Have Must have an Active Secret Clearance.
Six (6) years of professional experience with progressively increased levels of responsibility developing Navy combat systems training equipment programs, plans, curriculum, documentation and material.
Demonstrated experience developing job sheets, lesson plans and on-the-job training materials.
Demonstrated experience providing classroom instruction.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and identify gaps in sailor level of knowledge and make recommendations to update curriculum or training plans accordingly.
Demonstrated experience supporting Dept.
of the Navy and/or Dept.
of Defense programs.
Demonstrated ability to interface directly with Government customers.
Demonstrated experience supporting US Navy shipboard and shore-based installation programs.
Three (3) or more years of experience in shipboard combat systems hardware and software maintenance, modification and installation.
6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
Physical RequirementsMay require working in an industrial or shipboard environment.
Capable of climbing ladders, standing for extended periods, and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
