If so, then we invite you to read onABOUT THIS ROLE StMichael's is hiring a Contract Specialist (Hybrid) to support a Department of Defense (DoD) clientAs the Contract Specialist (Hybrid), you will provide end-to-end federal procurement support services to our clientYou will be in a client-facing role that will benefit from your previous experience and expertise writing and reviewing contractsOur core value of Excellence in Reputation will be paramount to this role as you will be performing cradle-to-grave acquisition tasks using a variety of internal or external Federal contracting tools LOCATION Virginia Beach, VA (including optional telework) WHO YOU AREo 5 years of experience performing equivalent duties to a warranted 1102 series contract specialist or contracting officer.
o Level II DAWIA Certification in the Contracting Career Field, or FAC-C or CFCM.
o Standard Procurement System (SPS) / Procurement Desktop Defense (PD2) database experience.
o Bachelor's degree in any field.
