The Tractor Operator drives gasoline or diesel-powered tractor to move materials, draw implements, tow trailers, pull out objects embedded in-ground, or pull cable of a winch to raise, lower or load heavy material or equipment.
The Tractor Operator fastens attachments such as graders, plows, rollers, mowers (over 2000 lbs.
), backhoes, seeders, and disc harrows to a tractor, adjusts equipment for proper operation, lubricates, and makes minor repairs to tractor and attachments such as tightening bolts and replacing washers, cotter pins, and screws (WDR Summary 11270).
As part of the Contract Operations Department, this position is responsible for maintaining grounds on industrial, commercial, or public property such as buildings, camp and picnic grounds, parks, playgrounds, greenhouses, and athletic fields and repair structures and equipment, performing one or more of the following tasks:

The key performance standards of this position are measured by the timely and accurate operation and adhering to all production schedules and standards within the Contract Statement of Work and Standard Operating Procedures.
Performs the day-to-day operations of the federal site grounds maintenance contract.
Follows and applies all safety procedures to meet federal and company standards; halting any operation or activity that constitutes an imminent hazard to personnel or equipment and assisting in the activities of the safety committee by promptly reporting unsafe conditions to an immediate supervisor including wearing all personal protection equipment for assigned function.
Fosters an atmosphere that promotes Human Rights for all clients and ensures training, incident reporting of all personnel regarding Human Rights Violations.
Responsible for working with a positive team spirit and producing quality work.
Responsible for appropriate conduct and demeanor as dictated by Didlake Policy.
Ensures the correct operation of all equipment and hand tools assigned.
When directed by the Project Manager, operates hand tools or hand power tools.
Follows and conforms to company standard operating procedures.
Fosters teamwork while balancing team and individual responsibilities; gives feedback to nurture a positive team spirit and quality performance, and models dependability, hard work, strong business ethics, and professional personal appearance.
Assists in managing department purchasing and budget by ensuring minimum waste of assigned equipment products and materials.
Completes and maintains all Didlake required training.

Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma/GED and the equivalent of three (3) years experience operating a farm tractor with moving and/or cutting deck attachments.
Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to obtain and maintain credential/background checks for base access as required by contract.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively.
Must be able to learn the proper use and provide minor operator maintenance on routine grounds maintenance equipment and hand tools.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
