6K a year Description WHO WE ARE The Jordan-Young Institute, an Aligned Orthopedic Partner, is a prominent multi-sub-specialty private physician practice including orthopedics, sports medicine, neurosurgery/spine, physical medicine & rehabilitation, and Physical Therapy in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
We are a high-volume practice with an excellent team of dedicated professionals whose purpose is to provide the very best medical care to the patients we serve.
We are seeking a full-time Human Resources Generalist.
The Human Resources Generalist assists in managing the day-to day operations of the facility.
Responsible for managing the human resources functions at assigned facility which includes talent acquisition, employee relations, and labor management and employment regulatory requirements.
The HR Generalist manages the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Advertise open positions, screen resumes/applications and participate in the interview process and manage the final hiring decisions for the practice.
Manage the onboarding process, facilitate general orientation and assist new hires to access all required trainings and collaborate with the team to deliver training.
Partner with department heads to ensure staff is accountable for compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.
Accountable for managing the HRIS to include open positions, hours of labor.
Support practice HR director on employee relations issues such as performance management, discipline and/or termination in compliance with state and federal employment laws.
Maintain eeo workplace investigation documentation related to HR matters.
Create and maintain all personnel files and electronic records.
Oversight of employment related regulatory matters, such as EEOC, Department of Labor, and I-9.
Respond to employee questions regarding benefits.
Assists with payroll.
May perform other duties as directed.
Oversee all aspects of Talent Acquisition Coordinates and monitors the completion of all required forms for new employees.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Preferred Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1 year HR experience.
High school diploma, required.
Healthcare experience preferred, with a focus on scheduling, recruitment, employee relations as a HR generalist.
