Software Asset Management Specialist

Analyzes user requests for new or improved computer information systems; researches current technologies in computer systems
to recommend solutions to user problems or needs.
Uses Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Monitors trends and new developments in computer information systems technology and assists in the
development of plans, policies, and procedures for computer information system operations.
Designs, develops, debugs, and installs new computer information system applications. Develops diagrams and flowcharts for
system design; under the direction of senior analysts, prepares informational systems documentation to provide historical and
operating data on an automated system.
Modifies existing software to improve operations, consolidate programs, reduce complexity, or otherwise improve information
system operations.
Assists users with information requirements and designs report formats to satisfy user needs.
Researches the capability of various systems; participates in the testing and debugging of programs and systems;
executes tests and observes the behavior of the system to validate performance.
Documents functional and non-functional requirements for technology solutions; reviews existing applications to define
problems and information processing requirements; assists IT staff in developing and preparing design docs, testing,
troubleshooting, and corrective actions.
Provides system and network administration and security; controls user access to systems; ads and deletes users and
assigns passwords as required.
Attends or conducts staff or training meetings to exchange information; attends in-service training and technical or
professional classes, seminars, or conferences to improve technical or professional skills; serves on committees and
boards engaged in computer information systems activities.
Performs other job duties requiring skills, knowledge, and physical requirements as demanded by those duties described or less.

Individual assignments will be determined by the supervisor based on the current workloads and department needs

Requires any combination of education (above the high school level) and/or experience equivalent to five (5) years in fields utilizing
the required knowledge, skills, and abilities listed above and associated with such positions as Programmer Analyst, Business Analyst,
or Management Analyst.
Specialization with SAM (Software Asset Management) requiring familiarity with software license types (i.e. perpetual, subscription),
allocation, reconciliation, and remediation options
The ability to research information on vendors for ublisher Part Number, End-User License Agreement EULA, etc.
The Candidate will also be required to have hands-on experience using ServiceNow SAM Pro and Asset Management modules,
run reports in ServiceNow and work closely with departments on license management.

The candidate should also be able to work with large amounts of data relative to assets, to enter, organize, manage and maintain

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
