Veterinary Emergency & Specialty of Tidewater (VEST) is a brand new, privately owned, state-of-the-art hospital set to open in July of 2024.

The options for recreation, dining and entertainment are endless! Currently, there are opportunities for full-time and part-time emergency associates dedicated to inpatient/ICU cases.
Emergency experience is required and includes proficiency with common emergency surgeries.
This position offers support and mentorship from board-certified criticalists and collaboration with the outpatient doctor.
Our hospital is equipped with CT, ultrasound, digital radiography, endoscopy, and a comprehensive in-house laboratory.
Shift options include the choice of day or overnight.
Full-time schedule is 3 shifts/week to allow for work/life balance.
Summary of
Responsibilities:
-Thorough physical exam of each hospitalized patient per shift -Order and interpret diagnostics as needed -Communicate diagnostic results and patient updates to the client -Perform emergency surgical procedures as needed -Collaborate with licensed technicians and other support staff to coordinate patient and client care and accept transfer of cases from outpatient doctor -Maintain accurate medical records and detailed documentation Benefits (offered based on employment status and longevity, in accordance with plan terms) :
