If you are looking for the king of VCRs, this is it! This AG-1980P is in mint condition. I can't believe I close to new it is cosmetically (see photos), electronically and mechanically. This went through a total refurbish by a Panasonic technician and this is pretty much as close to a from the factory, out-of box condition of an AG-1980P you're going to find. It's a pretty epic example of one of these. If you are seeking the absolute best quality from a S-VHS/VHS VCR, this the way to go! Great option for viewing and transferring your collection of home movies on VHS or S-VHS. The quality is absolutely fantastic and its hard if not impossible to beat what this VCR offers. This VCR includes digital time base correction (TBC) which helps reduce jitter, skew, head impact error and color blurring. This allows you to get the best quality possible for transferring old VHS and S-VHS tapes. Note this includes BNC and S-Video video connectors. If you have RCA cables, you can easily purchase RCA to BNC connectors on eBay or Amazon. Also, S-Video cables are very easy to come by on both Amazon and eBay. Overall the deck is super clean and in good shape for its age. I have never seen one remotely in this condition. It was loved and extremely well cared for.
